Making the Connection
Lifelong learning is a goal of information literacy--we want to have the skills ourselves to find what we need to know and how to use the information. Teaching these skills to our students is one of the best things we can do--they will face an even greater (!) onslaught of information and will need to be able to identify valid info from worthless, where to find it, and how to manage it all. Practice these skills finding that New Thing to share.
